Title: MP4 Video - audio track sync problem.
Post by: ComSoft6128 on 15:22, 18 June 19
Hi All,

I've recently found a Pre-95 speaking version of the Eliza program for the CPC. It uses software from the Speech! program by Superior Software. Hopefully I will be making a short video of this at the weekend.

My problem is that the audio component of any of the videos I have already made drifts out of sync by about ten seconds - as most of my videos are silent that's not an issue :)

However, having sound and vision in sync is essential for this particular video.

Can anyone recommend any software that will solve this problem?

Thanks,

Peter

Do you have an old/slow pc?
Did you tried to update codecs or use another one?

Thanks for the reply,

No PC is used.
Output from the 6128 Plus goes via scart into the OSSC and then to the Hauppauge Rocket using HDMI.
Output to the TV is in perfect sync so the problem must occur during the recording process on the Rocket.
What I need is software that will allow me to manually adjust the audio track on the MP4 file after it is recorded.

Cheers,

Peter

ΟΚ.
If the out of sync just happens once, you can use VirtualDub, there is an interleave option with the sound there.
If it happens every let's say 10-20 secs then it's a pain in the ass to sync it.
