Not as noisy as Bryce's, but looking pretty darn new...

Oooh yeah, 664's are soooo cool.

I want one.

I have to admit that the 664 blue keys are quite something...

You got a nice pair there!  ;D

On my side, I managed to get a brand-new unopened Dragon Tano, a real travel in time!!  8)

Oh, yes. Blue is such a beautiful color. :) The only disturbing fact is that spectrum there :P

I can almost touch them their that close!

I'm confused - an 128k machine with it's own Built-in Datacorder, that's a first and last isn't it. Of course I'm jealous!  :)

Ok, here's a high-res photo of the 664 alone (I don't think there exist many such photos online... use it!).

It hardly needed *any* cleaning at all. It was the second cleanest computer I've ever got (first was my first 464 back ten years ago, which was probably unused)...

A 664 with 128 KB, that would be something!  :)

Sorry, I forgot about your "Blue fetish" :D

Bryce.

Gryzor

Well, the pale blue of the 664 was inded awesome. Even my neighbor chick said, the other day "ohhh that's so cute!". So there :D

Regarding the 128k Speckie with Tape Deck, does anyone remember the AA52 Christmas Covertape? It had The Untouchables playable demo which for people with 128k came with a Tune. That was horrible cause it was recorded in Speed Write 0 and it took forever to load - I was most disappointed with it given how little you got and yet always remember Roland in Time never taking that long to load. Horrible!  :o

I sent MaV a pile of tapes lately and I believe the AA52 Untouchables tape was in that pile. Just in case you want to relive that moment :D

Yawn, don't sent it to me or I'll pump the Baud rate to 3500 and use a Headerless Loader! I guess the only good though which came from that tape was the amount of tape you actually got due to the huge Untouchables program. The Crossword wasn't much and the Word Processor was full of errors - it was featured again when AA had regular covertapes with Rama Rana and Maze Mania, though wasn't a problem with those 2 excellent games on one covertape. The only other program useful on the AA52 Christmas Covertape was that Gunslinger game, only fun to play with another player to compete with. At least the AA64 Christmas Covertape was better with Lost Caves and that Sprites Alive game Space Froggy!  :)

I can't remember which covertape it was on, but I thought "The Duct" was a cool game.

Bryce.

MaV

Yes, I have the tape. So far, I only loaded it on a CPC464. I guess I'll have to load it again on a 6128 to listen to the tune. But the AA Covertapes all take a bit long to load. :/

I'm putting up with that for old times sake, when I was sitting with a friend and loading tapes on his 464 (I started with a 6128). It also reminds me to reset my Nostalgia-Filter. ( http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NostalgiaFilter ... btw, be careful with that site! It is hard to let go, once you've started reading.)
