Hey folks.
Been a CPC site drifter since about 1996, some of you may know my name, others may know me for the first time.
CPC fanboy since 1986 until present day, although mostly through emulation. Still have some of the lads playing classics like Manic Miner through ArnoldX on an Xbox 1 whenever they're over.
Used to do occasional games reviews for TACGR and a couple of other sites.
Hopefully i'll try to stick around more :)

Welcome old friend! :)
Ah, a familiar name! Welcome back to the fold, really glad to have you here :)
Cheers folks.
Just hope i'll find a way to contribute without getting lost in a maze of hardware and programming talk. :D
I remember your name Sir, but I don't remember from where ;D

I remember yours, it would have been from Malc Jennings' CPC Zone. :)
Hah myself and Malc used to have some fun disagreements back in the day. I heard he retired from the scene, which is a shame. :(
Gotta be from the zone then ;D
It's a shame that Jennings just got tired and walked away from the scene without thinking about passing the torch to someone else. He did a really big effort just by himself and then everything was gone because of some script kiddies having fun.
By the way, have you checked this, guys?

The hacked site is still online.

Both Malc and I suffered the same problem in the sense that we had a tendency to take things too seriously back then, so I can understand why he'd probably have enough, but by the same token, it would have been a better idea to pass the files on to someone who wanted to continue it. I'd be very surprised if he doesn't have an offline copy.
You could also try this, it would be a long process to get it's resources from different snapshots though

A lot of effort, and we already have sites like the wiki, cpc-power, cpc game reviews, the amstrad games resource, amstrad.es and many more. I don't think that it's worth today to go on that scavenger hunt.

Aye, couldn't blame you. :D
As for TACGR - I know Dave had all the intentions in the world to give that site an update, but it just never came to fruition.
Might give him a nudge and see if i can get anywhere.
