Title: Prices of working 6128s
Post by: dcdrac on 22:07, 06 June 13
I have noticed on Ebay working 61282s refurbed ones appear to be commanding prices of £130 now, I have three of them all three refurbed so not in the market, actually on the look out for a Plus but no rush there.

That is a VERY high price IMHO. I've never paid more than £35 for a working 6128 base unit or £50 with a monitor, and my best example 6128, boxed with monitor in box was only £20.

I know it's possible to pay more, but equally if you keep your eyes open on ebay, you'll find them much cheaper than the price you found.

The 6128 plus fetches very high prices in the UK, so you'd be best to look on ebay.fr for the (very rare) person who'll post abroad. French people, for some reason, seem to not like posting abroad... The 464 plus is far more affordable in the UK, mine was £20 with a (slightly dodgy) monitor, but I think I got a good deal.

There's couple of Amibay at the moment

€40 although it's untested. Hopefully it will just need a new belt.

And RebelPeter (is he still frequenting this forum?) is selling his for £95....

If you wanted a CPC 464 then there's a nice one in Ireland, originally posted at €500 with some Amsoft games but is now at the bargain price of €250
