It looks irrelevant. :( For example, I've just searched for a word "yagol" and got 30 links - no one contains word yagol. :(
I don't get that at all...
Yes!
Just tried search for CPCTRANS, which I know IS there.
Got about 20 results, not found one incl word CPCTRANS. Seemed to be VERY old postings??
Geoff
Nothing new, the search function here was always crap. It displays very old posts and usually barely related. Maybe the usage of wild-cards can help, but honestly I guess the search function is running on an emulated 6502.
I searched for porn and found a lot of it... nothing wrong here...
(but yeah, soemwhat hard to find an old article back)
Google with additional "site:cpcwiki.eu" helps a lot

Yup, that's what I do too. It's not the CPCWiki's fault, it's the Wiki software that's crap at searching. The Search button (beside "Downloads" button) is somehow better than the Search field on the page, but still crap.
Bryce.
Wait, are we talking about the wiki or the forum?
The Forum.
Bryce.
Yeah, it's getting worse and worse. I just flushed the index and am creating a new one, let's see if that helps any...
Ok, seems a bit better now, I can find both yagol and CPCTRANS. Please confirm?

Yes, thanks to your post I now find this thread when searching for either of them :D
Bryce.
Yeah, noticed that too :D That's because I've assigned a high weight factor to the freshness of the result....
It works! Thanks. :)
