Title: Robocop Amstrad Theme - Metal Cover
Post by: ervin on 06:39, 01 May 23
This is glorious.

[EDIT] Oops wrong forum!
Sorry, I'm not sure which forum this sort of thing belongs in, but it certainly shouldn't be in introductions.  :-[

Thanks for the post @ervin

It's like listening to a Greek metal version of Mike Oldfield :)

I'll move it.

Great cover, I just wish people stopped calling every distorted guitar sound "metal"!

Oh wow! Hahhah, that's me!

I'm scouring through the forum (signed up today) trying to find some info on how to repair my CTM 644, and just as I logged in I see this post in the home page.

Thanks for the share folks!  :D

Very cool. And yay you did the in-game music too.  I love that tune. :)

Also the editing of you into the game is fun too. Especially love the photo-fit bit having cat face segments. :P

Thanks so much!  ;D

I try to use all the themes from the entire game, gives me more to work with anyways. I'm working on a few different songs now (Arkanoid, Commando, Double Dragon 2, Ghosts 'N Goblins) and the more themes the original game has, the more I have to work with so the more "progressive metal" I can turn the song into!

That's my favourite part too btw, I got a green screen from Amazon just to mess around with injecting myself in the game, learn some video editing as I go etc. And of course, my cats are always somehow featured!  :P (In Saboteur II for example one of my cats is attacking the ninja instead of a panther!)
