Title: t-shirt review
Post by: arnoldemu on 14:39, 26 December 13
My wife bought me one of these t-shirts:

Amstrad CPC 464 Retro T-Shirt: Amazon.co.uk: Clothing (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Amstrad-Retro-T-Shirt-Black-Small/dp/B007DXGB0U)

The t-shirt is good quality. Good material.

The print on the front is not done with ink, not sure of the correct name. it's like a picture is stuck over the top (a transfer?).

The design is also factually incorrect. It shows a CPC464, some bits n pieces are missing from it including the Amstrad logo. The monitor is also missing the logo - both of which may be done by choice to eliminate "noise"/issues.

It has "(v4)", "Amstrad plc" and a "Ready" prompt.

It's like an Amstrad plus startup screen and a normal CPC startup screen all together.

In fact, it appears more like the startup of a BASIC cart in a GX4000.

Ok, although it's factually incorrect, it's a good t-shirt I will wear many times.

I prefer V-shaped collars... >:(

Also now I don't want a startup message indicating my machine has only 64K and no extra ROMs commands from my shiny awesome BRYCE (tm) (R) (C) Megaflash (tm) (R) (C)

And no Disk drive ? WTF ? you want me to wait 20 minutes to play ? do you think CPC stands for C64 ?
