What would you like to see (movies, comics, characters etc.) or hear on your CPC?
- Which movie or comic should be converted for our CPCs?
- Which kind of graphics would you love to see?
- What would you like to hear?
Please tell us what you like! Let's collect ideas, so the 'producing' part of the scene can pick up your ideas!
I would like to see anything related to the alien or predator movie ;D
Good question.
But my answer is a game - I would really like to see a decent DOOM clone for the 6128 with an enhanced version for the 6128 Plus :o

None of the three. I like to see demo, play games, use tools.
Great, which Games and Tools do we miss? I leave demo making to Vanity, they can do it ,-)

- Games: Dune II, The settlers (with net support)
- Tool: Discology like for floppy disc and mass storage
The Settlers would be amazing on CPC (would it be The Arnolds, or maybe The Rolands?).
A sequel of Zombi and Hurlements.
An Ikari Warriors Remake with the fine vertical scrolling like Red Sunset or the Slapfight-Remake.
I would like to hear music that has "scratching" (like in old school hip hop) sound effects combined with speech using
"Speech v1.1" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIn6mFaLjVY (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIn6mFaLjVY)), in a game.
Here's an example: It has scratching and the words "Step Up"

Old Atari Arcade favourites in 10 Lines of Locomotive BASIC. :)
The Settlers is a good idea! :o

- Games: Dune II
That was extremely slow on A500, needed at least a 020 :-X
Scramble = checked
PDreams = couldn't even dreamed about it
I would like to see a good version of River Raid, Galaga or Berzerk.

A500 coders require 020 to do a Bag-Man port of a game running on ColecoVision, so no worry about Dune 2 on CPC !
That guy was totally clear that he used sdl so it was natural.
He is optimizing it though with proper hardware sprites.

The settlers (with net support)
Yes, PLEASE !!!! :D
Actually - Wing Commander would also be nice.
I'm a fan of the Sid Meier game Colonization so having some sort of CPC version would interest me. I have no idea how it would be technically possible though, I imagine there's far too much to fit into memory.
Having said that, the CPC Soccer "Sensi clone" that's being developed now is something I wouldn't have thought possible either so you never know!
Thanks a lot for your answers. However I didn't think so much about remakes of games. But what else new could be of interest?
So is your question rhetorical or do you have something in mind/"in the works" ?
I would like to see "Vespertino" :)
Regarding demoscene, as Desert Dream has been converted to the C64, I would like to see a port for our beloved cpc.
Is it really a big challenge?
I woud like to see a game like Alone in the dark on a CPC also I wonder if the CPC would be capable to emulate Game Boy
Everything has already been done on other machines. My advice is take a game that you love, and do you own version of it with your own scenario/work/gameplay. Do something original, based on something existing.

Both. But this kind of brainstorm can be of interest to everybody creating for the CPC. And of course it's great to know what people really would like to see.
OK, one for the hardware guys - what I'd really like to see is a modern update of the Rombo Video Digitiser compatible with the original Rombo software (why invent the wheel twice) and complete with HDMI IN and HDMI OUT.
