Title: You pay the postage
Post by: ComSoft6128 on 09:46, 12 March 18
The emptying of the "Amstrad cupboard from Hell" goes on.......................

These items are of no use to me and I would like them to find a CPC home:

1. Cassette Games - Thanatos, Darkwurlde and Zub.

2. Maxam and Maxam 2 manuals from Arnor - originals but no discs.

3. Cirtech Parallel Printer Port for a PCW8256.

Cheers,

Peter

Hey Peter,
Interested in the tapes if you can quote me the postage?

Cheers.

Hi Peter,

I'm interested in the Cirtech Parallel Printer port, could post a picture of it?

@ComSoft6128 (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=2226) - Hi Peter. My wife should have posted the SSAE for the ROM's that you was saving for me to you today. If you could squeeze a Maxam manual in it with them and it doesn't make it over weight, I would greatly appreciate it.

Please PM me your address.

Hi robcfg,

Trying to insert an image leads to a request for a location in CPCWiki?
Can someone please explain to me how to do this.

Cheers,

Peter

Hi Guys,

All Roms, discs and cassettes posted this morning. Regarding postage, if you all could make a donation of £1.50/2.00 each to the Wiki that would make me happy. When the items arrive please let me know how you get on.

Cheers,

Peter

I have tossed €5 worth of Paypals in the general direction of Gryzor.

Arnor's MAXAM 2 manual (no disc) is still available. This is the CP/M version and is probably more of interest to PCW users. It is in reasonable condition. If anyone is interested please PM me.

Cheers,

Peter

Next up:

Amstrad Action cover tapes:

No's: 24, 35, 36, 37, 39, 40, 42, 47, 49 and 51.
Also a Tasword 464 cassette - no cover or manual.

And strangely, the February 92 cassette from "Your Sinclair" featuring Double Dragon 3.

Cheers,

Peter

Near the bottom of the Amstrad cupboard from Hell (two cupboards actually) and I find some real trash :D :

One Atari 520ST with manuals and mouse - no disks.
It is in good condition and was working 25 years ago when it was used only for copying Atari Protext.
I could of course flog it on Ebay but would prefer it went to a member of CPCWiki.
If anyone is interested please PM me.

Cheers,

Peter

Please let me know how you get on. I think it was used with a Canon BJ10EX printer.

Oh! Yes, I forgot to say that I received the ROM, too, and I couldn't decide what's more interesting and valuable: the chip itself, or the original Campursoft jewel box and business card!! That was quite a blast from the past :)

Regarding the ST: If it is indeed a 520ST - that is, the label on the machine only has a "ST" on it, I'd be interested as well... :)

Sorry Gryzor, Vyper68 got there first :( .

The jewel box did indeed come from a jewellery supplier. The boxes were originally for the DES Roms.

Cheers,

Peter

Oh well, never mind. No need to get greedy :)

Naughty Vyper68 emailed me direct!

Sorry i thought @Gryzor (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1) was just making a comment about the model and then the Wiki donations. The direct e-mail is not what i intended to do, i thought i had sent a PM to you yesterday but when i checked this morning i couldn't find anything in my sent box. That is why i sent one this morning.

I was having a really bad day yesterday and had taken a lot of Morphine for my Spine condition so by the time i wrote it i am surprised i could put two words together so i thought i was sending a PM not an e-mail.
It's the same reason why the Listing for the free CTM ended up in the wrong place.

So apologies for messing up, it wasn't deliberate. I'll be glad when i get to have my implant and drop the painkillers. :-[

Nah, it's ok, it's not like we're a bunch of leechers grabbing stuff wherever they can, nor is it such a big deal; for my part, I wanted a ST to place in my office due to its smaller size :)

Also, hope you feel better soon; I know it's no fun :(

I need to find a sturdy box first but that shouldn't be a problem. Regarding the postage, I'll find that out when I post it but probably will be about £10 or less.

Cheers,

Peter

Peter,

Here (http://habisoft.com/pcwwiki/doku.php?id=en:hardware:perifericos:parallel_printer_port) you have the scans of the parallel printer port you kindly sent me.

It seems they used a SpeedPrint PCB but only added the components to make the parallel port work...

And finally?

Two duff (non working) carts - Fire & Forget 2 and World of Sports, carts only no boxes.
