Title: 464+ dodgy UP cursor key
Post by: Rurnin Bubber on 07:41, 18 August 22
Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any tips for this one...basically in the middle of restoring and upgrading a 464+ to 6128+ spec, and have noticed all of the keys work perfectly, except the UP cursor key. It works, but it needs a decent bit of pressure applied to it to make it register a keystroke. I've had all the keycaps off to clean them, but obviously can't see much under the black plastic housing...is there any way to fix this does anybody know?

There a double foil under the black plastic. You'll need to give this a clean (just warm water and a very soft cloth).

Worked a charm Bryce, it was absolutely filthy underneath the plastic. After a gentle clean, it's perfect now. Many thanks
