For a long time now I've had the following article open on a tab on my phone - http://quasar.cpcscene.net/doku.php?id=electronique:reparation_clavier_cpc_plus
Those of us who've had a plus machine for some time will have seen this keyboard issue one time or another I'm sure. For me many times! I even got a replacement membrane several years back. But the issue persists every now and then.
Not being one to rush in to things, especially when it's something I value so much, I've never dared implement the fix suggested in this article. Has anyone else been brave enough to do it or do you persist with the unplugging/plugging back in of the keyboard connector which is a guaranteed fix?
Yeap! It's a common fix. I've done it and saved myself from a lot of frustration.
You can find many references in this forum from people who had the same problem and solved it by taking out that resistor network.
