Hi all,
I'm trying to add a tape input to a 6128 Plus, I wanted to keep it simple and not add the relay, because I was going to use a TZXDuino (maybe a bad idea?).
I've installed a 2N3904 with base and collector swapped around, (I think it's the collector, I've done it as the diagram shows.) And also, the 1K resistor. Then I've connected a 3.5mm socket to the second and fourth pin on header connector CP07 (I assume it doesn't matter which way around?).
I've tried loading a game with the TZXDuino and a tape deck, but I get nothing.
Hopefully someone can point out that I've done something stupid :)
Thanks for looking.
Oh wait, I should connect to Tape Output?
And also it looks like I wasted time installing the transistor and resistor
Now it works! ;D

have you done anything special?

Connected it to the correct pins lol :) I thought it had to go to the mic-in, but it should go to Tape-Out
If you aren't using a relay, you don't need the transistor or resistor either. They are only there to switch on the relay.
Bryce.
