Post by: montanatoni on 13:32, 21 January 25
Hello to all the amstrad community.

With which modern potentiometer can I replace mine?
only the potentiometer not the electronic card,
because I would like to put my wheel on the new one?

thank you.

It's a standard 6mm* 20k Vertical PCB mounted linear potentiometer. You should be able to find one on ebay. The size won't be an issue, but a 20k version may be more difficult to find.

Bryce.

*It may be a 9mm version. Measure it to be sure.

If you tell that's 6mm is a diameter to  plug the rotary, you are right.

6mm is the diameter of the spindle. There are also two types of spindle: The "toothed" version (like a cog) and the "D" version, that... looks like a D from the top.
