Just to back up what Bryce was saying about cheap Chinese brand electronicsI was cleaning up my man cave this morning and found this.
It is the connector from a cheap Chinese made TV mainboard to a 32" LCD panel.
It is made from a right angle twin header pins and a you can see the rest.
A micro dob of solder and hot glue. :doh: I guess another card edge connector was going to put the price up to high.
The led lights were not working although it was still putting out video if you put a light behind the panel.
These TV's sell in Woolworths stores and the like here in Australia for around AU$250.
