Hi Guys,

I haven't been on here in a couple of years. Life and other things. Finally turned on my CPC 464 which had been working fine. It had been sitting inert, not plugged into power for at least two years.

Now it won't turn on. Black screen. Light long drawn out beep.

What is most likely to have died in that time? The CRTC? The Rom? Where would I start?

Also there used to be a user repairer here in Melbourne Australia? I'm not sure who is around any more.

PS. It's one of the 1984 older boards. The PT No.z70200

I've visually inspected the board. Checked the socketed chips gently. And cleaned all the old expansion port pins. Same result exact same issue.

About to PM you. I haven't touched it since. I'd love to bring it by.

Possibly Sunday evening. Or daytime Tuesday/Wednesday (Tuesday-Wednesday are my weekend).
