Title: CPC464 Plus, Azimuth Adjust
Post by: Rurnin Bubber on 15:08, 19 August 22
Hi all,

On the closing stages of this restoration now, and I've come up against a niggling issue. With the top of the case OFF, the 464+ will load my cassette fine. However, with the top of the case put back ON, it gives me an read error. I did need to adjust the azimuth to get the drive reading at all, but because there doesn't seem to be a way to adjust it with the case on, I'm shooting in the dark. Any tips?

Never used these so can't say how effective they are but they might be of use:

Cheers for the links. I found out earlier though that the C4CPC cart has the arn500diag test cart within, so was able to use that to fine tune the azimuth. I then disassembled the whole computer, and reassembled it to ensure EVERYTHING was sitting correctly, and it works a charm now.
