Title: CPC464 with no monitor
Post by: banana on 04:12, 10 March 17
So I found buried under a bunch of travel bags my old CPC464. Unfortunately, it looks like the Monitor I had is MIA, and probably KIA
Can anyone suggest what type of power supply I can get to make it work again? Will it work on a modern LCD screen either through RF or Composite or Scart?
It would be a shame to have the machine with so many tapes and not be able to use it.

Yes, you can use a LCD. If you use a TV equipped with a RGB capable SCART socket, the easiest way is to make or buy a RGB SCART lead.
You will also need a good quality mains adapter that has a regulated +5V output.

See here for more details: http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/TV_SCART_cable (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/TV_SCART_cable)
