Gotek und ABBA

Mal ne schmale Frage in die Runde ...
Kann man das Gotek auch ohne diesen ABBA Switch temporär auf LW A umschalten?
Dieses Gelöte am Board möchte ich nicht machen. Der CPC soll im Originalzustand bleiben.
Ich würde das Gotek gerne als externes LW betreiben, aber leider gibt es nun mal sehr viel Software die schon beim Booten auf LW A zugreifen will.

Bau das Gotek als A: ein. Du wirst es nicht bereuen...

Als B: kannst du dir immer noch ein FD1 zulegen.

Einen Stick mit Inhalt fürs Gotek kann ich dir fertig machen...

Vielleicht werde ich meinen 6128 dafür missbrauchen 😉
Allerdings ... bin schon eher ein Fan von unverbastelt.

This cable switches the Gotek between A and B. No mods to the Amstrad!

I have tested the temporary primary drive setting. It works great !!
Don't understand why it works looking at the pin assignement of the floppy port, but that's ok
