hi i wanted to use my original burnin rubber cartridge to start the eprom containing Ghosts'N Goblins makeover demo
using eprom mc27c4001
but it gives me black screen.
is not feasible or am I doing something wrong?
i tried with a smaller game on eprom mc27c1001 pang and this works.
something help me?

Could you post a picture of your cartridge?

I think that most probably you'll have to set up the right links on the cartridge to tell it you have a bigger eprom.

Those LinKs on the Cartridge PCB are used to set the capacity of the EPROM used. The details are on the Wiki Page. For an m27c4001 you also need to reconfigure the links

You have to close (connect) 3 of them, LK2, LK4 and LK6 for the MC27C4001 to work.

hello I made the connections but the eprom written by me of ghost n goblins does not start.
since I converted it with cprtools, I wonder does this program work with this 512kb rom?
does anyone have a ghost n goblins demo image.bin that I can try?

Is the 4001 rom 4x the required size so best thing is to copy the game 4x onto the rom to fill it then it will probably work.

tonight I deleted 4 eprom and tonight I try to write them and try again.

the doubt is that the program I use to convert them to .bin i cpr is not compatible with 512k images

If that's the case, your problem is that is 128kb only and the GX4000 only has 64kb of ram.

i converted to bin with cprtools but the games i wrote and tried on the rom don't work

can anyone tell me if the cprtools program works correctly? I have another question but if in the 512k eprom 27c4001 I write a smaller 256 rom for example this should start?
(I ask why I tried but this game doesn't even start)
