Title: Replacement 6128 ROM
Post by: Keir on 15:15, 09 June 15
Hi,

I have a 6128 with a dead 40025 32k ROM. Can anyone here burn a replacement for me? Bonus points if you're in the UK too for cheap postage  ;)

TIA!
Keir

Cent Pour Cent have them available on their website. I'm planning on buying one myself when I get my X-MEM

When you have an X-MEM you can simulate any kind of ROM. So why do you want to buy it?

Because I have more than one Amstrad & can't afford more than one X-MEM, so I'm upgrading them in different ways. Experimenting & having a play with them.

I think I have one you can have. It was pulled from my Schneider CPC 6128 when I did the dual bios mod.

I'm sorted with an EPROM now. Thanks all.  :)

Place a socket for your EPROM, if you remove the previous ROM.
