Title: Replacing the EME-150 A - Track 0 Problem?
Post by: Mangaclub on 14:36, 06 December 24
Greetings everyone,

i searched around the Forums already and my conclusion is that my EME-150 A in my CPC 664 that i inherited has gone bad.
To show you what i mean i uploaded a small video:

I heard those EME-150 A are hard to repair if they have a trakc 0 issue like this?
If anyone has an idea for a repair i am always listening but if someone has a spare Disk drive that is not in use i am more than happy to talk about the price (delivering to germany)

It doesn't look hard to repair. It looks like a limit switch sensor issue or bad calibration of the worm gear stop. In the worst case some small component gone. You can send it to me to give it a try.
