I finally found motivation to make good use of that Symbiface 2 which was resting in the drawer from some time.

I just opened a similar thread some days ago. To your question: I assume you need an adapter from regular IDE to small IDE (40 to 44 pin). But take a look at the other thread. :)
The adapter looks like providing an IDE environment? Did you make it working?
