What kind of box was used in Orion Prime Packaging?

Given I'm seven years late on this one, I'm not even trying to buy a physical edition of the game, even though I would love it. I am trying to make it myself instead, which is surprisingly not an easy task?

The box has standard DVD "keep case" dimensions, but without a disc holder, and with a floppy holder? I can't source such a thing anywhere.

Also the download page is missing quite a few things, like the team letter, the newspaper excerpt or the miniCD iso. I'm assuming the Cargosoft team intended it to be exclusives for the physical edition buyers.

I wouldn't even want a 3" edition, given how difficult it is to source 3" floppies nowadays. I'd just make the discs myself. I would have loved however to get a 3.5" one with all the paraphernalia.

It is a "smart card" / "business card" older.
May be you should contact them for more informations.

I should. I assumed the authors were regulars here, and I'd rather keep discussions of this sort public, should anyone else be looking for this information in the future.

I'll drop them an email anyway.

[edit] welp, not helping.

Hi,

Yeah, we used a box designed to hold phone cards, I guess (SuperSylvestre was the one who found and ordered them, I don't remember much). We still have a few dozen left, but keep them for our forthcoming game.

But like you said, what is not in the downloadable package is made exclusively for the buyers of the packaging (you forgot to mention the negative cutting of the surveillance camera). Too bad you're a bit late :).

Well I'll make sure to be around for your next game then ;)

No hope for a reprint then? Maybe an Anniversary Edition in a couple of years? :D

Dr Tiger Ninestein

I'm gutted to have missed out on a physical copy of this game :(

Targhan

No, no chance for a reprint, sorry. We like to move forward and leave the past to the past :).

Sorry, I found that quite fun to read in a forum dedicated to the Amstrad CPC... in 2016 :)
Released The Return of Traxtor, Golden Tail, Magica, The Dawn of Kernel, Kitsune`s Curse, Brick Rick, Hyperdrive and The Heart of Salamanderland for the CPC.

If you like my games and want to show some appreciation, you can always buy me a coffee.

Targhan

Yes, that was the whole point :).
But I don't consider making new games on an old computer is a focus to the past. Quite the contrary, as we try to develop new ideas and new techniques. Just my point of view...
