Hello!

It says here
http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/CPC_Schneider_International

that all scanned issues of CPC International can be found in the download section of cpc wiki forum.

WHERE is the download section? I don't find it I have tomatoes on my eyes, please help.

Bytebreaker

On CPC Wiki I see that for some issues there are scans, for others not.
In particular I look for the scans for Issue 8 (August) 1988. So if anyone has this issue please drop me a line I would like to have it.

Thank you.

I think there are only a few issues online:

I think we had more issues on ftp.cpcszene.de. Sadly this ftp is down...

Hey guys,

There is a downloads section on the forum indeed, but it's been hidden for a few days now because spammers were trying to get in through there (for some reason) and were putting a load on the wiki with tons of connections... But I'll reinstate it very soon. Look for the "Downloads" button on the top menu!

Oh Awesome!
I was looking for the AA section (i have em on another machine that I was too lazy to move to and power up), and thought I was losing my mind when I couldn't find the download section last week!
Currently playing on: 2xCPC464, 1xCPC6128, 1x464Plus, 1x6128Plus, 2xGX4000. M4 board, ZMem 1MB and still forever playing Bruce Lee.
No cheats, snapshots or emulation. I play my games as they're intended to be played. What about you?

Check out the button at the top menu; you may need to clear your cache to see it... let me know if it works!

Sadly I don't see the download link either in Safari or Chrome both before & after doing some spring cleaning.

It shouldn't be too difficult to nut out if I just bung on "/download/" after "forum" in the address column would it? Will answer my question with No, it just gave me a blank page with just the Top Menu.

No, the URL is http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=dldir , can you access that?

The button is fourth from the left (Home|Forum|Help|Downloads...). Can you see it now?

No idea what you mean by SiteMap (that's something for the search bots, not the users) and Archive...

For myself it's displaying "Home|Forum|Help|Search". I clicked on your link which gave me "An Error Has Occurred! You do not have permission to access this area", I'd say that's why I cannot see it.

Those things are normally down the Bottom of the page, a site map page is a page which gives a guide to all the Main Links & Links within those, guess it's a bit like the old DOS program which displayed the Directories and the Directories within those Directories. I thought this site had one of those, but I could be wrong. The Archive is the barebones (pure text) collection of Topics & Replies, usually displaying every post in each category. At the bottom just above the Page created text are 3 Links, the 3rd one titled WAP2 brings up something which looks like an Archive, but when I click on a category (e.g. [9] Programming), I get topics 1-9 and have to click on the Next Page to get the next bunch of topics. Normally as I mentioned an Archive compiles an entire list of Topics which makes it useful if you're looking for a particular topic especially if you're unsure what the Thread was called, but has a word in it's title that can be easily looked up using the Web Browser Find feature.

Ok, will check permissions...

As I said, the Sitemap exists purely for search engines, it's not supposed to be used by humans, and though I'll bring it back for SEO purposes I have no idea why anyone would use it. It's there to provide links to everything so Google etc can crawl the site.

There was never an archive, so I'm afraid I don't know what you're describing :D

AMSDOS

I had a look on Google and was able to pull up this Cached copy of the [Archive] from the CPCWiki Discussion page:

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:mVmQgO52yLwJ:www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/cpcwiki-discussion/%3F%26action%3Dkitsitemap+&cd=3&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=au&client=safari

It's also got Page numberings, but there's 50 Topics in it. I'm unsure if the page will work as the link shows the Webbrowser used as well as my Country in the link, I'm unsure why that is.

Okay, well I'm sorry if I was coming over as blunt.  :(

On other forums they are called Archives, this one looks like our sitemap to begin with, and when you click on one of those sections, it takes you to possibly a whole list of Threads. The only difference between that forum and this one is when you click on one of those Threads, a Simple Text version of the topic is displayed, this forum takes you back to the original thread. It's only really in the WAP2 link that when I click on a post in there a Simple Text version of the post is displayed.
