Hello,
Still owning my CPC 6128 from December 1985. Though with a green monitor because of money shortage at the time.

The other option was a CPC 464 with a color monitor. But I didn't want a tape deck (so slow and unreliable...).
Great memories with Sorcery+, Boulder Dash, Arkanoid, Ping-Pong etc...
Recently I fell in love with Pinball Dreams. So close to arcade games.
Learned a lot on how to code in machine code on CPC through this forum.

Welcome here.  :)

I also had to chose between the CPC6128 and CPC464 - and went with the CPC464.
My cousin had the CPC6128, and he ended up using tapes a lot while complaining about how expensive discs were.

Was it all just gaming for you, or did you also play around with BASIC programming?
Do you need music for your Amstrad CPC game project?
Take a look at IndieGameMusic.com - that's where I put my tracks.
