Anyone ever completedHarrier Attack?

This was one of the first games I got at Christmas with my CPC.

I only managed level 2 before game over.

Did any die hard CPC fans complete this one?

The short answer is you don't complete Harrier Attack, though I've busted that game so hard on Level 5 I've literally gone past the magical 65535 figure which reverts it back to 0, though your number of hits remains intact, not sure what happens when you reach 10,000 hits, reverts it back to 0 is my guess! 

There's a few games from 1984 which you simply don't complete, Astro Attack seems to be another cause I've had to cheat just to find out the truth, Electro Freddy is another and I even remember someone (from the CPCZone days) send me a Snapshot of their Roland In Time game with all the Gems being collected, only to find the game continues on! I've got a sneaky suspection that Spannerman is another one which plays on forever too!

Although I played this game to death when I had my first 464, I never got further than a few levels into it. I might spend some time on it soon and see what I can achieve.

you don't complete Harrier Attack, it completes you just like when you  bomb your own ship!

Hopefully I will get further now I`m aged and far more experienced in life.

Oh heck!

Level 3 again and then have issues with rockets and bombs.

One minute I`m focusing on bombing and then an aircraft comes along with flak issues causing problems.

Enemy shoots at me & i fire back & both miss.  Now I am high up and the ruddy plane hits me!

Happy days playing on the classic and loved CPC.

One minute I`m focusing on bombing and then an aircraft comes along with flak issues causing problems.

Happy days playing on the classic and loved CPC.

Need to keep away from those clouds and fly lower, when you flyer lower you get less enermy planes, save your bombs for the city and just shoot the cannons, people & radars on the ground with your missiles!
