Hall of Shame opened!

Well, after Leonie's last post, and being bored of going through the ban procedure once more, I decided to open a Hall of Shame board (child of Off-topic).

From now on all inappropriate/offensive posts will be moved there.

Thoughts:
1. This is an experiment. We'll see how it goes.
2. Banning is still an option, so you can't just keep on posting such drivel.
3. I wonder how it goes in terms of replies. Should I lock it? Should I not? Time will tell.

Thats a better solution than banning a member immediately or removing/editing entries, where probably someone wants to react to...

Well, two things:

-Noone was ever "immediately" banned. There were always several and serious infractions before any post was removed or a person was banned.
-Allowing people to react could lead to an all-out flame war. Definitely not good. And, besides, what if the person offended doesn't want or can't (maybe by not seeing the original post) retort? Should the offending posts remain?

Btw, it seems like the Hall of Shame idea is already failing, Markus; it's not a place to joke around and discuss as it's turning right now. It reminds me of school bullies who, upon being punished, think they are cool... so I think I'll probably be deleting it soon maybe.

I found the Hall of Shame by Accident and was confused with the post in it, even after translation! 

I liked the idea of something like that though acting like a Cooler, closing the naughty in it for a while, unfortunately I have the feeling that it's a case of easier said than done!

Hahaha! You really are something, aren't you... You never said that the wiki would remain, on that or another server, and that, of course, was the problem, not the root issue as you'd like to present it. As for the domain - this came after you decided to keep the domain for yourself. I was even on vacation at the time you did all this... Actually, you had announced that you'd be withdrawing and closing down your cpc-related sites.

Since the server we moved to didn't give root access it's stupid, to say the least, to say that we moved because you would merely shut root access down.

Really getting paranoid there... or worse.

After announcing that you'd shut it down, after ignoring my frantic emails, after posting publicly while I was trying to resolve the issue with you through emails. But, of course, by then you had shown the state of your mind and there was no going back.

Since you asked for it... If you like to do it that way... ok! But only Admins who speak the same mother language or English are supposed to do that. Markus shall not judge for Greek language, and you shall not judge for German language. Yes, I know, you do think that your German is well - but just let Markus make the decisions, because it's his _mother_ language ... and it's even the language of his dad, his girl-friend, of his dogs and flees    I hope you are relaxed enough to take this as positive feedback

Well, I never claimed to speak German fluently - far from it. However, every time I need to I scrutinize the post very carefully - and god knows there are many resources to help you with that. And I'm not talking only about Google Translate, for instance, but sites about idioms, dialects etc.

Some common sense is required - when you write something about someone in a language other than his own, refrain from posting questionable stuff. Couldn't be easier. It's only fair, after all.

And no, I don't have the slightest problem with your feedback, honestly. Just please prepare the ROM version of ROManager
