Anybody knows what happen with my favourite CPC Amsoft Software site cpc-imperium.de

CPCzone.net is dead and pretty much buried.

If you look around (search for a topic named ATTN: Malc or something like that) you'll see a discussion about the Zone. It's a shame, but it seems it's gone for good.

As for CPC-Imperium... weird, never heard of it, but obviously it went under and someone snatched the domain to sit on...

does anyone know just why cpczone.net closed down and when it closed ?

i had it saved in my bookmarks from ages ago and earlier i just clicked on it to read an old review of '' the curse of sherwood '' for the amstrad cpc 464 and i discovered it wouldn't connect to the site...

i liked the site they did loads of great reviews of old games , had it in my favourites and bookmarks for years.

Now you're getting into the why other things took priority - attacks can indeed be very disheartening. Yes, attacks were one of the reasons for packing it up, but does it matter in the end? Everyone has the right to choose what they do with their own time...

As I've said before, it's what happened with the Zone's data I'm having an issue with.
