Hi guys,
as you maybe already have noticed, CPC-Power.com uses a new captcha system to allow downloads.

At least I was too stupid to solve this puzzle, so I will tell you, how the captcha works:

Example:

code: HNRJL
order 25341
Good order is : NLRJH
(Just info for those of you, who are as stupid, as I was ;) )
When you put your ear on a hot stove, you can smell how stupid you are ...

If you need instructions for a CAPTCHA, it's a huge fail already. If you don't include those instructions, it's a double fail.

Sorry for being so negative, but it's really silly to do that. At least put a puzzle from a CPC game in there :D

Are you sure? Your letters are ordered according to 5(N)-1(L)-3(R)-4(J)-2(H).  I see no sense in that.
And I got that police screen too.

I clearly state here (in a pissed off mood!):

Feck that shit!!!

I will explain it:

code: HNRJL
order 25341
Good order is : NLRJH

Order means:
2 = use 2nd letter = N
5 = use 5th letter = L
3 = use 3rd letter = R
4 = use 4th letter = J
1 = use 1st letter = H

So the solution is NLRJH

If we're at a point where we debate the solution to a CAPTCHA, then it's surely screwed :D

Devilmarkus

Just for info:
I didn't add this crappy captcha!!! :D

But you're absolutely right, Themis ;)

It's bullshit...

It work fine for me... As the instruction is clear.

It's fine if you download 1 game or 2. It became painfull when it's more.

I don't know the reasons behind this, but if it's not a problem to download 3Mo of DSK files, then maybe the captcha could check the IP, and run only one time.

If works now 50% for me (at the moment I'm locked out again). Something is really wrong with it!

I suggest that is to avoid peoples to download the full website content again...

There are really much better anti-leech protections than this. And, in any case, how big is the whole archive?

One day the whole internet will be accesible only via by filling in captchas and then I'll stop using it completely.  They drive me frickin' crazy.  I just want to download a file or post a comment or whatever, not do optician-like eye tests or quizzes...  Just another example of a 'security system' being a hassle to the people who weren't breaking the rules and the people who do always get around things anyways.
