Hey guys,

I'm sure there was a topic ages ago about games that were only released on the Amstrad CPC commercially, but I can't seem to find it. Unless I'm going nuts and it was so long ago that it was topic on the CPC Zone forums!!

Anyway, can't find an article in the CPC Wiki itself too and it probably needs this one!

So what are the Amstrad CPC exclusives released commercially? That were decent?

I can think of to start off with....

Killer Cobra
Xyphoes Fantasy
Fruity Frank (although apparently an MSX version was made...)
A good chunk of Amsoft games (be warned though... for example Roland In The Caves = Bugaboo on other systems!)

Grimmsqueaker

Yeah, Roland on the Ropes on other systems was called FRED

Axelay

#2
Fruity Frank was by Kuma Computers.  May be worth checking out what else they did?  I had Star Avenger by them, couldnt spot that on Lemon or WOS...

Oh, Xyphoes Fantasy was pretty late, what about games by Elmsoft, Odiesoft & Radical Software?

SyX

"Fred "and "La pulga" (or Bugaboo) are the spanish names, that were changed when those games were exported to Europe.

With respect to CPC exclusives games, you need to look in early CPC games as Radzone, Cray 5 (although a few years ago was remade for spectrum for an spanish group), ... or look the catalog of french companies as Ere, Cobra Soft, Ubi, Infogrames, Lankhor, Loriciels, ... although a few of these games are in Oric or Mo-5 or ST or Amiga or ..., but for the typical speccy or c64 idjit, anything is not their systems is CPC exclusive :P
