so i've been trying to get some cpc vids created for my you tube in particular games -

anyway im getting heaps of advice suggestions etc on how to do them and quite frankly im getting no where and need some help and to be put on the right path....

i started off recording an .avi with winape but when i loaded it into movie maker it chopped up the one .avi video file into 10 smaller .avi video files and they didnt even match up it was a complete mess.

i thought i would need a web cam to record my game playing and up loading to you tube but every one says it wont be good quality the video will record screen flicker and that i should go with a screen capture program.

so i've downloaded 3 screen capture programs - hyper cam, cam studio and debut cam.

i have become a frustrated little vegemite as none of them recorded the game sound and 2 out of three were very ordinary to use and unfriendly -

the best to use i found was debut cam - i have been able to record a game and the view that recording back.

but how do i get the in game music on the same file ?

i also bought a logitech 110 head phone and mic set that my pc doesnt seem to recognise at all no matter what i do or how many times i change the sound settings it just wont recognise it. 

i have green and pink mic jacks at the front of the tower but they seem to be unuseable it just wont work.... so i assume i cant use my headset and mic on that tower....

so i tried them on my 2nd pc and i finally got use of my mic although it took forever just to get it making a sound on the free music editor i downloaded.......

so just how do i go about putting a proper cpc vid together

surely its not that hard or frustrating or labourious ?

ukMark mention using Arnold cpc emulator to record a game and sounds just wondering if anyone has used the Arnold emu before ??

any help would be much appreciated....

I'd download and give the Fraps demo - FRAPS game capture video recorder fps viewer a go. It is a commercial (paid for) utility but it's one of the best out there for capturing video from emulators, computer games etc. I've used it many times to record footage from WinApe.

yeah john gage told me to give it a go too.

i think i finally got this debut video screen grabber capturing the game sound so i could b heading in the right direction.

see how i go with my efforts today on getting something done.........
