Are you by any chance BlindGerMan from amibay?

Bryce.

Hey mate! i hope you are ok! Do you know anything about an add on for the cpc that adds to it a hard disk, 4mb of memory, and the symbos?

No - I'am not BlindGerMan :-) But I met him one time last year at a retro event.

I've just uploaded two reviews, and there's another one to follow.

Very good reviews, looking forward to the next one!

Actually, there are ten new reviews, because to my great surprise, CPC4eva has contributed nine reviews! ;D I hope everyone enjoys reading them (and perhaps disagreeing with them as well)!

Morri

Hehe, @CPC4eva can be a tough man to please. Love the honesty! Did get me interested to try world of sports which I haven't played before.

Woho! These reviews are though! I guess you are a bit too hard.

But what really shocked me was that I just saw the review of Captain Blood. I would have given it a 9.

I thought that as well - but I have to respect the ratings of other reviewers and not alter them.

In my opinion, The Fury and Uchi Mata definitely did not deserve the ratings they received. I really dislike Uchi Mata (has anyone ever played a CPC game with so much sprite flickering and such cumbersome controls?) but giving it 1 out of 10 was really harsh. I admit I used to hate The Fury too - but when I played it again last weekend and actually read the instructions, I began to realise it's nowhere near as bad as CPC4eva thinks.

That reminds me I've got to map out Starbyte cause I managed to work out the controls for it and get past screen 1.  :)
The cheat helps, but I've been slack making a map sheet.  :(

Yeah, I think Captain Blood deserves more than a mere 6. I think it depends on tastes - I can see how someone can find it not engaging, but if you do put in some time it becomes amazing... And, for a 64k machine it's simply incredible.
