Title: SD Microsystems shutting down?
Post by: JohnElliott on 22:21, 03 September 23
This arose from a Facebook discussion today: In May this year, SD Microsystems applied (https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/03936096/filing-history) at Companies House to be wound up. Their eBay account (https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?item=256128420000&rt=nc&_ssn=locoscripters&LH_Complete=1) hasn't sold anything since July, and their website (https://locoscript-software.square.site/) displays the message:

QuoteWe specialised in LocoScript (naturally) and other quality software for vintage PCs and PCWs. This site is now closed for sales and support and is left online for information only.

I wonder, in that case, what becomes of the Locomotive assets like PCW CP/M, LocoScript and so on. Though given LocoScript and PCW CP/M both sign on with Amstrad copyrights, there may be more to the ownership question than just Locomotive. If anyone's heard anything more definitive, it would be nice to know.
