GET OFF MY LAWN YOU PUNKS WITH YOUR FANCY MOBILE TELEPHONES

Wait, did he say a c64? What an ass.

Anthony Flack

Animal Vegetable Mineral?!?

That kid can fuck off. And they ripped him off something awful.

eto

Love it :-)

Seriously, with that game it's a wonder that he got £50. Is that a recent episode or some years old?

I totally can understand the kid when he says that de doesn't know a single person who would buy this. Sure he doesn't. In my sons class there is one kid who is into a C64. But that's the only person under 30 that I know who is interested into vintage computing.

My son is 11 and he's big into Retro gaming. No idea how he got interested in something like that!?  ::)

I'm surprised he hasn't built his first hydraulic power station yet!

I'm sure his friends don't care about anything that's not on Tik Tok. But he works in a pawn shop, doesn't he? I don't imagine their customers are all Gen Z.

Considering that they decided to demo it with Animal Vegetable Mineral of all things, I feel like the producers were really going out of their way to play up the "haha what a piece of shit" angle. Ten seconds on the internet would have revealed that there is plenty of demand for a CPC in good condition.

I need to start buying up the worlds stock of iodine first, so that I can at least turn a profit from it. :)

Thinking about this stupid programme again and what a missed opportunity it was.

Imagine if he busted out a cassette of a really good game instead of the very worst game. Something fun and accessible from one of the RetroDev comps, like Penguin Attack for example. And then he asks the pawn shop guys to guess how many new games have come out for the CPC in the last five years. That might have surprised the audience to know.

This is why TV sucks.

Most probably they now try to sell it as "rare" for 500 ...
