I was watching now the last episode of Doctor Who, "Wild blue yonder", the second special of this year.

And at the start of the episode, the Doctor and Donna crash the Tardis in a tree and the Doctor shows the computer that he is using to control his time machine.

Of course, only the best computer ever, hehehe.

I'm unsure of the availability of Shower Hose to DIN adapters. I couldn't find them on Farnell.

what's cool is that a decade ago i would have laughted it is not plugged in or whatever... but we all know that it may now be battery powered with M4 card internally and even it's own display where the tape drive used to be... unless that was shown not to be there... but i guess he could have a neurallink that he makes webservice calls to from his CPC

I assume this wasn't just a matter of grabbing a cheap prop, but somebody on the show wanted to pay tribute to British computer history. I wonder if the Doctor has a copy of Roland in Time.

It's certainly not the first time such a prop has been used; even aside from the times when the BBC Micro was powering the TARDIS. In Peter Capaldi's era a modified Sinclair Scientific Calculator was used as the 2Dis. There was a C64 and a Spectrum+ in an episode the last full Jodie Whittaker series too.
