Nebulus : theme remix, video longplay and remake
Source: Genesis8 Amstrad Page (http://www.genesis8bit.com/index.php)
What there are 8 towers!!!!, I thought there were only 3 now I understand why everyone says this game is really hard.
Hmm interesting the music included at the start of the long play is from the C64 and yet it sounds totally wrong and not right to me obviously my ears are attuned to the the AY. Although that particular remix which I have listened to several times before I quite like.
Thanatos and it's impressive paralax effect.
Just imagine if this game were in mode0...
Sadly to straight speccy...
Not too much colour clashes despite 1bpp graphics and no masks.
and a bit slow thanx to the raster effect for the HUD or even the earth : dark blue replaces the black in this zone... .
actually a clever use of the rasters.
It also had to work in 64K RAM I guess...(thus the 1bpp graphics)
Another game which could be redone in an even more Awesome 6128PLUS/ROMcart version... perhaps...
let's check :
=smooth Hardscroll : check
=Hardsprites to add some bits of effects/colours : check
=128K instead of 64k to have properly Amstrad coded graphics : check.
=easier raster interupts : check...
Sorry but it had to be told. ;D
Thanatos reminds me of way of the tiger... same kind of engine I guess...

I also liked his piano version of Rob Hubbard's THANATOS (though Julian Breeze programmed the CPC version).

Shit, sorry about that! ^_^
And yes, his piano version of Antiriad is pretty good, too!
EDIT: Edited original post... I think no-one noticed!

You made me laugh, I thought you had just added the link to the antiriad music :-)
