Interesting though this bit of programming has created an outcry in the way the graphics are interpreted and it doesn't surprise me that people are hinting at the fact graphics are supposed to look pixelated. It's an interesting scenario though cause Full HD TVs which handle 1920x1080 resolution would obviously make some old Nintendo or Amstrad with MP Modulator look blocky.

It also sounds as if some improvements, the creators did admit that their routine hasn't quite interpreted some of their test examples properly, it appears their routine has to work out what is a curve as opposed to what is a square. Space Invaders seems to be their classic test case, cause using their routine on them graphics turns the aliens round. Of course one would have to know the resolution for the Space Invader graphics to begin with I reckon. On an Amstrad a pixel has two different meanings as well. Mode 2 & 0 use rectangular pixels are different length, though Mode 1 uses Square pixels and of course this could possibly vary from 8bit system to 8bit system!  ;D
