Thanks for the nice read :) The score seems a tad exaggerated but oh well!

new review published today..... arcade conversions to cpc.   And yes as someone has already pointed out PANG maybe shouldnt be there as its a CPC+ / GX4000 game.....  and that Arkanoid 2 should be in there.  im not disagreeing its their opinion and fair enough too....

so here it is my top 10 arcade conversions to  AMSTRAD CPC :)

That's a great Top 10! Actually I do agree with most of them, but Shinobi? This one surprised me.

I was more surprised by Space harrier ... to me the transparency kills it... but a rare mix of procedural/vector graphics and bitmap and other sort of effects... still...

Shinobi's only fault is the graphics : they are ported  like automatically, with close to too few re-pixeling from an artist, But may be acceptable or even good sometimes.
Otherwise the music is flawless and the gameplay as well... may slow down a bit but really for once, it is not too bad and very pleasure full to try to kill everything with feet/sabre...

Well, it's a speccy port, scrolls totally jerky 2-Bytes wise. With few tricks it could have been a good game.

One of the candidates for a rewrite ;-)
