Hello everyone! :)
I'm excited to share a new tool I've developed that might interest you:
an online converter for regular CPC tape block-files to the CDT formatWith this tool, you can:
- Upload a WAV file and convert it seamlessly.
- Capture audio input directly from your cassette player for on-the-fly conversion.
It's simple and entirely browser-based. No installation required!
You can try it out here: https://monocrun.com/cpc-tape-to-cdt/ (https://monocrun.com/cpc-tape-to-cdt/)

Thanks a bunch, it could be useful. It doesn't seem to work with MS Edge :'( The WAV is correctly read and I can hear it, still nothing is displayed in the output window. I've tested with a simple basic file.
Thank you for your feedback Jean-Marie :D
I will use your file to improve my tool.
Can you just tell me how this file was recorded?
Henri
I used Caprice Forever to save a simple basic program, with default speed write.
Thank you for the information!
This tool was designed to work with the type of waveform typically recorded on a real computer.
However, I will try to support a broader range of waveforms based on your file.
I'll let you know once I've made the adjustments :D
Hello Jean-Marie,
I've just updated my page.
It should now successfully process your file.
(Don't forget to reload the page/clear your browser cache)
Can you give it a try?
By the way, what is the key to FIRE? ;D
Henri
yeah, it's working smoothly :D
Bravo!
The fire key is COPY (i.e. Alt on emulators) ;D
Great, Jean-Marie!
Your game is tough. Bloody lightnings! ;D
