Title: 9 channel sound - Are you a musician?
Post by: TFM on 23:02, 09 December 14
Hi!

Listen to the tile picture tune please ...

Amiga Longplay The Great Giana Sisters - YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vWUzQiQUY0&feature=PlayList&p=536DF3ABFF24FAAE&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=24)

Can one of the great musicians here convert that into 9 channel sound or how much channels are ever needed for the PlayCity? That would be awesome.
Please PM me for anything else.  :)

I'm not the musician you are searching for  ;) , but this track sounds quite "thin" (MOD with probably four channels) and sometimes even strange to my ears. Maybe it's also caused by my Dell notebook at work. :-) Probably the result for your project would be better if a good musicians picks up the few good parts inside this tune and makes a very own version.

Yes, you're right. It's (iirc) a four track MOS. Tolkin once converted it to CPC and 3 tracks (AY limit). That's didn't really sound better.

However with PlayCity there would be 6 channels. Anybody here up for a conversion / rewrite?
