I want to create a bunch of animated gif's for my website from game footage from Winape.
I guess I will capture video using Winape's record function, and can crop it using trusty VirtualDub
Can anyone recommend some good free AniGif software? I have a super basic one at the moment, but it only merges static gif files together - Ideally I'd like something that can take the avi, crop it, and maybe allow some basic editing later.
Anyone got any suggestions?
I used a program called PhotoScape to do my Lemmings gifs. It's not the most intuitive software to use but for free you get what you pay for.
Thanks for that one, I hadn't found it during my reasearch, and it looks far better than what I used for the rabbit anigif on my forum!
I think JavaCPC includes an animated gif tool.
You are right, It can capture straight to animated gif - that will save a lot of time.
I can always use Gimp for the cropping in an emergency! I find its anigif support confusing - but it can do the job
Thanks for the help. ;D
