Hi everybody it is FordP here from Kent in England,

I am trying to find out the latest on the cpcng project.

Does anybody know anything ???

I think it's progressing somewhat - last I read was that a release is prepared, tho I don't remember the details...

Well... Somebody posted here (http://cpcwiki.eu/index.php/Talk:CPCng), that there is hope, but... I don't know, how credible that info is. Other than that, I don't know nothing and to be honest I rather disbelief all that, because CPCng is rather complicated design and in light of T-REX CPC, rather pointless, IMHO. But who knows? Maybe the developers of CPCng, will just do it, because it's hobby and points are more or less pointless? ;)

Thanks for the link (and bringing it back to the wiki ;) ). Well, despite it being complicated, it's still a great project, and I don't think we should trash it because there appears to be something better... no?

OMG, never did I do such thing! :o All I did, was posting my concern about this project. It's very time consuming and I think all of us, have problems, mostly, with finding spare time for our CPC hobby.
Will I be glad when CPCng will be released? Very. Will I buy it? Depends on the price, but propably the answer is Yes.
But that doesn't stop me, from looking realistically on this project, that's all.

I am an Electronic Engineer myself. I am just getting into FPGA's.

I look forward to downloading it even if it is not complete.

In the meantime I intend to download and get started with zxgate.

I will pop back from time to time for an update if that is OK.

Great project ! I dream about a portable eZ80 CPCng like the EeePC701 with SymbOS ;-)
