Title: Help with an eBay auction!
Post by: robcfg on 23:56, 07 August 15
Hello everyone!

I'm very much interested in this PcW10 on eBay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Amstrad-PCW10-Vintage-Computer-Printer-Boxed-PCW-10-/381351488443?). Sadly, eBay tells me that the seller is unable to respond to my question.

Would it be possible for any of the forum mates in the UK to get it (I think it's free postage in the UK) and then send it to me?

It will go to Habi, author of CP/M Box to aid in the PcW10 emulation.

Thanks!

I live in Spain. In case you need money in advance, I'll send it via paypal or bank transfer.

Thank you!

I'd like to say a big Thank you! to @seanb (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1200) for helping us get the PcW10!

The PcW10 has remained even more obscure than the PcW16, but now Habi will be adding support for it in his CP/M Box emulator.

Thank you very much!

It's been posted and is on its way to the national hub to be sorted.

Should have it by Thursday.

Glad I could help :)

Thank you very much!
I received it finally this Friday, and today I've been experimenting with it.
Here it is, with its brother the PcW16:

Its PCB:

And finally, I've figured out how to emulate its included Centronics port:

Today we met and we could finally take a good look at the machine, and scan the board.

You'll find the scans here (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/PCW_Mainboard_Versions#PCW_10).

Sean, thank you very much for your kind help!
