does anybody know of a way or some software that will block or disguise my IP address so that others cannot see it or find it or locate it ?

There's lots of ways, You can basically spoof your MAC address? Or hide behind a NAT Firewall. A quick google search on any of those keywords will reveal all. I wouldn't recommend it, but surfing a neighbors wireless router is also a good way to surf anonymously. So easy to hack into, and most are installed fully open by default. But if your gonna do this, be as ethical as possible about things, as you wouldn't want people doing the same to you. There's also a bit of software called 'Netbus' this basically allows you to cause all havock on the tinternet, but be careful as its a program that the Police use.

IP spoofing used to be easy up to Windows 2000, I think. Then it got rather hard to do it.

ive done some reading on ip blockers on google search and wiki but all i get is confused as the information is saying that its not really possible to hide your IP address ?

i wouldnt be very profitable in head money


just want to protect me pc from others that is all but it sure does seem confusing some programs do this and others do that doesnt any of them do an all in one job ?

An anonymizer, then (like TOR) is your best choice. Plus, you could use a paid proxy server...
