Title: Question about MIDI software in Windows
Post by: Gryzor on 13:38, 09 March 14
The newest Atari ST cores for MiST have a couple of nice features: USB output is enabled, meaning you can actually connect the board to a PC and, creating a virtual port, read data from the ST.

Two nice uses are to enable Printer output from the ST to the PC and send MIDI data from the ST to be played on the PC.

Now, as to MIDI, I know you can play incoming MIDI data easily, but are there any solutions under Windows that would allow you to read the port and output sound?

Thanks!
