The AI can already make a song for you. Here's one about the C64/CPC/Speccy

A couple of days ago, I discovered the website/app/whatever "Suno AI". It's basically like ChatGPT or the artwork generators, but it can create songs in any style and language.

So I'm having fun with it! I have already generated an opera son where the male singer wishes his mother to recover from some knee pain, for my mum. She was supposed to laugh and instead cried, so I'm not sure if it totally worked.

There are two modes: in the normal one, you basically type a message in English (you can try in other languages, but it has some errors understanding some things) like: "a happy 80s synth-pop song about how the C64 had faster scrolling and better audio, the Amstrad CPC had weird French games and happy colors and the ZX Spectrum had super advanced color interactions". With this prompt, Suno AI created the song "Retro Arcade Bliss", which is pretty hilarious. It also generates an album cover for you.

In the "Advanced" mode, you can select a musical style and also introduce your own lyrics. Often, the AI introduces some lines of its own mixing your sentences, which is also hilarious.

Since this is a retro computer forum, let's see what retro computing related songs we can create. If someone wants to create an opera song about the tragic moment Lord Michael Sugar decides to leave the computer business, feel free to do so. I'm out of credits for the day, lol (only 50 credits for free users, which means 5 songs in 2 different versions each).
