So its all kicked off outside and undead are roaming the streets, you look around for a suitable weapon but can only see (and indeed use) an 8-bit machine to defend yourself (you have pretty much anything to choose from btw!)
Which machine is most likely to cause major cranial damage?
The obvious choice for me would be the CPC464! (without monitor attached of course!)
I think the tatung Einstein is housed in a heavy metal case which could cause a lot of damage.

Those two, especially the Tatung would require some serious muscle to wield! Much better use would be to drop from a height onto head methinks! A one hit wonder!

IMHO the only serious choice would be ... the c64 of course!
- There are enough of them (even too much)
- No loss if it breaks
- A zombie who sees the c64 has to throw out. Additional feature ;-)
- SID sound better in the head
- Finally a serious usage for commodore crap

The only realistic choice is the Acorn Electron.
It's small and extremely solid with some real weight behind it.

I think like TFM, a C64 tied with any spectrum version, it will be more useful to use this computer wannabes for that purpose than annoy us with lame game ports...
If it's weight you need then I'd go for a fully loaded Commodore PET 4032 with dual drives (Picture because Gryzor likes them):

It is an Ohio Scientific Challenger series III.
I'd prefer the C64- or Amiga-PSU (the heavy ones) to a complete machine, which depending on weight I probably couldn't lift anyway. Also with a bulky machine the throwing distance will be too close for a second try.
With the mentioned PSUs and a bit of practice, you could swing them and throw them from a distance. And since they are quite solid, you can reuse them almost indefinitely. Don't forget that zombies usually appear in masses.
And I'd like Simon Pegg use them in a follow up movie to Shaun of the Dead, come on Shaun! It's been ten years!
