Title: Agon Light
Post by: zhulien on 16:17, 01 February 23
Hi Everyone, not CPC related but z80 related - the Agon Light is now being sold reasonably cheap at PCB Way.  Currently it seems to be one of the fastest Z80 based machines - https://www.pcbway.com/project/gifts_detail/Agon_light_3f7ffaa8.html?fbclid=IwAR13M-qN7GdqBquhGwjYkFT-x0qqrC_uUAoG8OhSRSsbN3gzuWC5C9XDJmE

Which makes me wonder - how difficult would it be to connect the CPLink card to it instead of a Raspberry Pi?  Then we perhaps can send Z80 code off to it to execute instead of emulation within a Pi.

It is not interresting at all. See the topic started last week. The new V2 version cost 50€ :

It is not related at all about the fact the Z80 is interresting or not. :-\
But I think you have perfecty undorstood the meaning of my answer.

You have open a topic to said the Agon Light is now enough cheap. That is wrong.
It cost 120$ on your PCB Way link while the Agon 2 Light, replacing it, just cost 50€.

I'd rather warn people than let them be fooled because this topic was created.
