Amstrad DMPC-1 Cable question

Hi folks!


I've been asked about a cable named "Amstrad DMPC-1", which appears to be a standar parallel printer cable.


The only reference I've found is in an old PPC640 eBay auction.


I've uploaded a zip file with pictures of the cable here.


What do you think? It's a standar parallel cable? Any use with a CPC or PCW?
