It's not really running an Amstrad OS on Arduino - it was just a quick test app for the screen, which I am very impressed with!  Now.. I wonder if it is even possible to hookup this 2.8" TFT to a real Amstrad 6128?.. could mount it where the disc drive is and have it tilt upwards... one day I'll have my portable 6128  8)

Quotewell....not really! it was just a test app that I wrote to make sure the 2.8" TFT screen was working okay. :-)
Well, it was indeed quite complicated as you need a hell of an arduino only to have enough RAM space :) , but very nice joke on the other hand!

A propeller could do it, you could even attach 512KB external memory.
